Can Someone Tell Me Who I AM?

posted by: Derek

Several days has past and I am sure your all wondering what and where I have been.  I guess it's time for me to catch up on whats going on.  For the Last two weeks I have been running around with my head cut off.  There is absolutely no time to play around with this Competiton.  I have really been working out and eating as well as possible.  Some days I have forgot to eat but insist that I put some fuel in me or I will go to that dreaded Plateau.  Thank you Lawson and Mike for your explanation on Plateau.  I know its not healthy to forget to eat but even more unhealthy to go to bed on an empty stomach.  I want to say Congrats to Troy who looks amazing in his journey and Caprice who I spoke with on line sounds like she is moving right along.  I am not sure about Yanick but I feel she is going to knock all our socks off with the second weigh in...Work  IT GURLLLLLLLL!!

Thank God for keeping me on the go because all the temptation on the road is hard. I went to doctor with my stomach issues and all is well. I really was worried that I would be back in that dreaded hospital removing more guts that I am already real low on.  Just making the right choices with meals and all the cardio has slimmed me down two waist sizes.. I am now a 36/38, that is three waist sizes ..WOW!!

Its time to pick up the speed a little more and push myself to the finish line.  Maintaining this healthy new me is AWSOME!! but figuring out what city I am in is another thing..lol   I gotta run now ...literally lol  lol  lol

a little picture comparison of my progress...

posted by: Troy

I was talking to one of my friends and she was telling me that she definitely sees improvement and a lot of change. I told her thanks but said I know I still have a ways to go. Well she then sent two photos she found of me online to me to compare the difference. The first is with my nephew about a month before Knock Out The Fat started and the second picture is of me this past wkend... it definitely brought my hopes up about all the hard work but I still say I have a LOOOOONG way to go... what do you think?

Lawson could not have written the Plateau blog at a better time

I knew going into this that this would not be easy. I am 22 living in Boston with two other guys and all of us under thae age of 25. All of my friends just graduated college and many are beginning to move to Boston too which means there is a lot to celebrate about. I am a very loud, social person and love to go out and be around people but I have really had to slow down from the college days. This means a lot to me and I really want to make a big change but after the results of last month I have trying to make sure I know that I can not expect another 18 LBS WEIGHT LOSS! It is not realistic. I know I am going to hit a plateau and I expect it but I have a feeling its comnig. I have been eating right and going to the gym at least 4 times a wk. I have been changing up my routines like Michael said. I have been doing spinning classes (I highly recommend) kickboxing class and other new cardio as well as more new and diverse lifting exercises. I can see more change happening in my body but I just have a feeling its coming... the dreaded plateau. Its funny to because I do want to get to the point in which I stop losing weight and actually begin gaining weight (muscle of course). I just want to make sure I am doing everything right. I REALLY want to take advantage of this opportunity and with so many other things going on in my life (once again we still have to live our real lives) I dont want to fall off track.
